This technology works by changing the electrical polarity of the incoming water. This change propagates throughout the entire plumbing system and the hard water salts which are usually deposited and encrusted as limescale on surfaces, remain in suspension and are washed away in the water flow.

The magnetic field works upstream and downstream of the water flow and into the central heating system as well dissolving the scale build up in radiators.
